Overview
The TX Mainboard-7 Devkit + TXMP-2550 is the Ka-Ro STM32MP255 SIMM-CoM (TXMP2) development platform — the high-end of ST's STM32MP2 series with dual Cortex-A35, Cortex-M33 and a 1.35 TOPS Vivante NPU. Pre-mounted on the TX Mainboard-7 carrier; ideal for industrial vision, motor control and secure Industry 4.0 gateways on a familiar SIMM-CoM form factor.

TX Mainboard-7 Baseboard Features
Why this Kit?
One Carrier, Every TX Module
The DIMM200 socket on TX Mainboard-7 accepts every Ka-Ro TX module — i.MX 93, i.MX 91, i.MX 8M Plus, RZ/G2L, STM32MP and more. Validate one application across the entire family on the same hardware.
Industrial AI & Vision
1.35 TOPS Vivante NPU and HiFi4 DSP make TXMP-2550 a single-chip platform for vision, voice and motor-control HMI workloads.
Headless & Display Ready
Boots straight to a serial console out of the box. Add the optional 10.1″ touch display via the Mainboard-7 LVDS connector when you need an HMI.
Made in Germany
TX Mainboard-7 and TX-family modules are designed and manufactured by Ka-Ro Electronics. 12-month warranty and 10+ year availability commitment.
Software & Support
Yocto-Linux BSP
Reference image based on Yocto kirkstone / scarthgap. Boots straight to a Linux console out of the box.
Mainline U-Boot + Linux Kernel
Long-term-supported sources, including Ka-Ro device-tree overlays and module-specific patches.
NPU SDK
NXP eIQ machine-learning toolkit (or vendor equivalent), NPU runtime and TensorFlow-Lite / ONNX Runtime support out of the box.
