Overview

The TX Mainboard-7 Devkit + TX8M-1620 is the LVDS-display variant of the Ka-Ro NXP i.MX 8M Mini Quad SIMM-CoM. Quad Cortex-A53 at 1.8 GHz with the LVDS-bridge variant of the TX8M family — pre-mounted on the TX Mainboard-7 carrier and ready to drive LVDS panels (including the optional 10.1″ touch display add-on) out of the box.

TX Mainboard-7 Carrier

2× USB host, USB-OTG, Gigabit Ethernet, RS-232/485, CAN, micro-SD, dual TTL/LVDS display headers, audio I²S and a 40-pin extension header.

TX8M-1620 Module

Pre-mounted on the carrier with heat-spreader fitted. Snaps into the DIMM200 socket — swap to any other Ka-Ro TX module. NXP i.MX 8M Mini Quad LVDS ready out of the box.

Power & Cables

12 V / 3 A power supply (EU + UK + US plugs included), USB-serial debug adapter and cable.

Software & Support
