Overview

TX Mainboard 7 (TX00-SV70)

The TX Mainboard 7 is a ready-to-use Linux headless development system for Ka-Ro's entire TX Family of embedded processor modules. Featuring a TX DIMM socket compatible with all TX modules, the board provides comprehensive I/O access including dual display outputs (RGB LCD and LVDS), multiple serial communication interfaces (RS232, RS485, CAN), audio via an SGTL5000 codec with 3.5mm headphone jack, 10/100 Ethernet, USB connectivity, SD card storage, and JTAG debugging. All TX DIMM signals are additionally available on solder pads for custom expansion. Powered by 5VDC via USB-OTG or a standard power jack, the kit ships complete with a cord power supply, cables, and heatspreader.

Compatible with all Ka-Ro TX Family modules. Simply plug in any TX module to begin development -- no soldering required. TX DIMM signals also available on solder pads.

Dual display output with RGB LCD interface (Glyn family concept connector) and LVDS display connector (Hirose DF13) for flexible display development.

Communication Interfaces

RS232 debug UART (SUB-D connector), RS232 UART (10-pin), RS485 UART (10-pin), and CAN bus (10-pin) for comprehensive industrial communication testing.

Audio System

On-board SGTL5000 audio codec with 3.5mm headphone jack for audio application development and testing.

Debug Access

JTAG connector for hardware-level debugging and RS232 debug UART (SUB-D) for serial console access during development.

Flexible Power

5VDC power input via USB-OTG connector or standard power jack. Cord power supply included in the kit for immediate operation.
