SKU: QSMP-SV35

QSMP-SV35 — QSMP-1351 + QSBASE1 Evalkit (STM32MP135C)

The QSMP-SV35 is a ready-to-use evaluation kit for the Ka-Ro Electronics QSMP-1351 System-on-Module (STM32MP135C). The module is pre-soldered to the QSBASE1 baseboard — plug, power, develop, out of the box.

What you get

  • QSBASE1 evaluation baseboard — basic USB-serial debug platform for the QS family
  • Ka-Ro QSMP-1351 module pre-soldered in place (not socketed; for socketed/swappable evaluation use QS00-SV04 with a /SOCK module variant)
  • USB cable + USB-serial debug adaptor
  • Pre-flashed Yocto-Linux BSP, full schematics, design package and 12-month warranty

QSMP-1351 module specification

  • SoC: STM32MP135C
  • CPU: 1× Cortex-A7 @ 650 MHz
  • RAM: 256 MB DDR3
  • Storage: 4 GB eMMC
  • Display interface: TTL
  • Operating temperature: -25 °C to +85 °C (industrial)

Looking for QSBASE4 with a socketed QSMP-1351?

Ka-Ro does not offer a /SOCK variant for the QSMP-13 family. For a swap-and-test configuration with multiple QS modules, use the QS00-SV04 (QSBASE4) baseboard with any compatible /SOCK module (QSMP-1570/SOCK, QS8M-ND00/SOCK, etc.). The QSMP-SV35 above is the dedicated single-module ready-to-use kit.

Software support

  • Yocto kirkstone / scarthgap reference BSP
  • Mainline Linux kernel
  • U-Boot bootloader

Made in Germany. 12-month warranty. 10+ year availability commitment from Ka-Ro Electronics.

Why this Kit?

Pre-Soldered, Pre-Flashed

No socket assembly required. Connect USB, hit power, and you are at a Yocto-Linux console — first-boot in under a minute.

Cost-Optimised

STM32MP135C is the most cost-effective Linux SoC in the QS family — ideal for high-volume IoT designs where every euro matters.

Production Migration

Evaluate on this kit, then ship the same code base on the solder-down QSMP-13 production module. No carrier-board re-spin, no software port.

Made in Germany

Designed and manufactured by Ka-Ro Electronics. 12-month warranty and 10+ year availability commitment.

Software & Support

Yocto-Linux BSP

Reference image based on Yocto kirkstone / scarthgap. Boots straight to a Linux console out of the box.

Mainline U-Boot + Linux Kernel

Long-term-supported sources, including Ka-Ro device-tree overlays and module-specific patches.

Schematics & Design Package

Full carrier-board schematics, gerbers and BOM available on request to support your own carrier design.
