Dual Cortex-A55, EdgeLock Secure Enclave and Ethos-U65 NPU bring NXP's i.MX 9 series to both pin-compatible TX and 27 mm solder-down QS form factors.
Strategic Embedded has announced the TX93-5210 and QS93-5210 System-on-Modules — two new NXP i.MX 93 processor-based modules covering both pin-compatible TX and 27 mm solder-down QS form factors. The i.MX 93 is one of the first NXP i.MX 9 series applications processors to ship on Ka-Ro hardware, bringing modern Cortex-A55 performance, an integrated Ethos-U65 NPU and NXP's EdgeLock Secure Enclave to industrial designs.
TX93-5210 vs QS93-5210 — pick your form factor
- TX93-5210 — 68 × 26 × 4 mm SO-DIMM, pin-compatible across the TX Family. Adds 2 MB NOR flash for boot. €84 Qty 1.
- QS93-5210 — 27 × 27 × 2.7 mm solder-down QFN, no connectors, lower profile, wider −40 °C industrial range. €84 Qty 1.
- Both share NXP's i.MX 93 silicon — drop into existing carrier boards or develop a single platform across the QS / TX Families.
