27 mm solder-down QS module brings STMicroelectronics' STM32MP135C single-core Cortex-A7 to industrial designs at the lowest QS Family entry price.
Strategic Embedded has announced the QSMP-1351 System-on-Module — a new STMicroelectronics STM32MP135-based QS module bringing single-core Cortex-A7 Linux to the 27 mm solder-down QS form factor. The QSMP-1351 is the lowest-cost member of the QS Family Concept, targeting industrial Linux designs where cost, footprint and long-term availability matter more than peak compute performance.
Why STM32MP135 + QS form factor
- Cortex-A7 Linux at €23/unit in volume — the lowest entry to the QS Family.
- STM32 ecosystem — full STM32CubeMX / OpenSTLinux mainline support.
- Same QS carrier board — scale up to QSMP-1570, QS91, QS93 without redesigning the PCB.
- Industrial −25 °C to +85 °C, 10+ year availability, made in Aachen Germany.
